Hitherto, the College Board used to conduct SAT six times in a year for international students-
October, November, December, January, May and June months. Recently, due to some alleged
cheating by some international students and to curtail this and the number of attempts given, the
College Board has announced a revised schedule of exams, in line with the students of USA.
From the year 2017-2018, SAT will be held only in the months of October 2017, December 2017,
March 2018 and May 2018. This means that the students must plan well in advance, understanding
their commitments through the year. For example, most of the International schools in India
conduct the MUNs/ mid- term exams around December / January. March and May SAT may not be
much-suited since, the students will be progressing towards the final exam.
So, it becomes almost imperative that students plan their SAT for the October exam, if not, latest by
